Avanti West Coast makes 100,000 discounted tickets available in national rail sale
Customers can take advantage of up to 50 percent off select tickets to destinations on West Coast route.

Avanti West Coast customers can take advantage of up to 50 percent off select tickets as part of this year’s Great British Rail Sale.
Running until 12 January 2026, the nationwide rail industry sale offers customers the chance to buy discounted Advance and Off-Peak tickets online for a limited time.
With 100,000 tickets available on Avanti West Coast services for travel dates between 13 January and 25 March 2026, customers can save on escapes – whether it’s a Scottish getaway in Glasgow or exploring Chester.
The following Standard Class single journeys to and from London are available in the Great British Rail Sale: Birmingham (£14), Chester (£23.50), Glasgow (£36), Liverpool (£21.50), Manchester (£28.50), and Preston (£30.50).
This is the fourth year of the Rail Sale, led by the Rail Delivery Group, which gives customers the chance to save on journeys big and small across popular routes.
