Avanti West Coast will run its full timetable at Glasgow Central from Wednesday (25 March), when all high-level platforms will reopen following the major fire on Union Street.
The intercity operator will operate two trains per hour to and from Glasgow Central – resuming its full service at the station.
Avanti West Coast’s Ticket Office and First Class Lounge will also reopen for customers on Wednesday 25 March.
With a small exclusion zone still in place at the high-level station, there may be some changes to boarding services – with Avanti West Coast staff on hand to help customers.
Chris Liptrot, Operations Director at Avanti West Coast, said: “We’re pleased to be resuming our full service at Glasgow Central and want to thank our customers for their patience and understanding over the last two weeks.
“Our Ticket Office and First Class Lounge will also reopen. We’re continuing to work with Network Rail and industry partners to ensure people can safely move around the station.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming customers back and as always would encourage them to check before they travel for the latest updates about their journey.”
Until Wednesday 25 March Avanti West Coast will operate one train per hour from Glasgow Central. It will also operate one train per hour between London Euston and Motherwell/Edinburgh where onward connections to Glasgow Central low-level are available with ScotRail.
